Michael Anthony Perini, a devoted husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully at his home in Hendersonville, NC, surrounded by his loving family on April 19, 2026. He was 82 years old.

Born on February 20, 1944, in Cornwall, Pennsylvania, Michael embarked on a life journey marked by dedication, service, and profound love for those around him. A graduate of Villanova University with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, he went on to own and operate his own successful company, Electronic Control Corp., where he made significant contributions to the field.

Michael served his country with honor as a Warrant Officer in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. His commitment to service extended beyond his military career as he became deeply involved with the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW). Over the span of more than four decades, he served as Post Commander, District Commander, and contributed his culinary skills to special VFW functions, enriching the lives of many veterans and their families.

A man who never met a stranger, Michael was known for his infectious humor and his penchant for telling Dad jokes. He found joy in bowling and was passionate about supporting the education of young people. This passion led him to actively support the Voice of Democracy Scholarship program in both Maryland and North Carolina, helping countless children continue their education.
