Samuel A. "Sam” Burgess, Jr

Samuel A. "Sam” Burgess, Jr., 80, of Hendersonville passed away Sunday, October 22, 2017 at the Elizabeth House.

A native of Slaton, TX, he was a son of the late Samuel and Dorothy Pace Burgess. He served his country in the Air Force during the Korean War and worked many years at GE Lighting as a quality control officer.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, October 25 in the Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Roy Waldroup officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
